History

AMMRE’s commitment to our customers, clients, integrity and professional excellence is the same as when we began in 1979.  From a small firm that managed single-family homes, AMMRE has grown into one of the largest local real estate firms of its kind in New Mexico.  With our strong expertise in protecting and maximizing residential real estate investments, AMMRE established a niche in Residential Management, Residential Real Estate Sales, Association Management and Commercial Management. 

In 1996 AMMRE was purchased by husband and wife team Jonathan McCormick, JD MBA and V. Blair Hart CPA MBA.  In 2000 the company entered the new millennium with a new name.  Formally, Albuquerque Residential Management, the name was changed to AMMRE to better reflect the company’s depth of real estate services.

Management

AMMRE is a family owned business driven by the entrepreneurial spirit to continuously innovate and strive for excellence.  Before AMMRE, Blair and Jon practiced as certified public accountant and attorney at law, and owned a successful Management Consulting firm. Blair and Jon worked as real estate agents before entering graduate school and have purchased, sold and managed real estate from the beginning of their careers.  While both owners run all of AMMRE, Jon, as Qualifying Broker, heads the Real Estate Sales and Association Management Divisions and Blair, as President, heads the Property Management Division. 

AMMRE is a large firm for its niche.  We consider our size an asset, but we understand that it is more important to be the best than the biggest. While our size allows us to offer the most complete package of coverage and services for our clients and customers, we remain small enough to maintain the loyalty, intimacy and esprit de corps that contribute greatly to our success.  Teamwork is the core of our management structure and our organization is designed around this principle.

AMMRE has chosen to run each segment of its real estate services as a separate division.  This allows our teams to concentrate their full attention to individual client services.  At the same time, our divisions will come together when needed to provide the most complete and seamless package of client services available.  We understand managing real estate investment as well as buying and selling real estate.  Whether it is maintaining a single home, or a whole community, we know what needs to be done and how to accomplish the goal.

AMMRE’s experienced Property Management Team has one of the best employee-to-property ratios in New Mexico, to assure personal attention to you and your property. AMMRE’s Sales Agents combine their experience and commitment with the advantage of a small firm’s ability to individualize services. AMMRE’s Professional Association Managers have the specialized knowledge necessary to assist in growing and maintaining the investment quality of your community.
